Women Artists
In these portraits I painted just the faces of women artists that I look up to. By using just black and white paint, I have attempted to eliminate anything that might emphasize biases and sexuality. My straightforward paintings demonstrate how I want us to see these subjects. I have been slightly changing the faces I paint, mimicking how as a society we “distort” the images of these women.
